What is Lunar?
Lunar is a wealth tracking dashboard that brings all your UK investments together in one place. Track investments, pensions, retirement accounts, and see your complete financial picture with real returns vs inflation.
What accounts can Lunar track?
Lunar can connect to any bank participating in Open Banking and Trading 212. For institutions that aren't supported yet, you can track them manually via our manual workflows.
Is Lunar available on web, iOS, and Android?
Yes, Lunar is available as a web app and on iOS and Android. Subscription management is web only. Join the waitlist to get early access to the app on your preferred platform.
Security & Privacy
Is my data secure with Lunar?
Yes. Lunar uses bank-level encryption and security standards to protect your financial data. All account connections are read-only - we can never move your money or make transactions.
What is read-only access?
Read-only access means Lunar can see your account balances and holdings but cannot make any transactions, withdraw funds, or transfer money. You maintain complete control.
How does Lunar connect to my accounts?
Lunar uses secure Open Banking API providers and direct API connections to connect to your financial institutions. Your login credentials are encrypted and securely stored.
Will Lunar sell my data?
No. Lunar never sells your personal or financial data. Your data is only used to provide you with wealth tracking insights. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How does Lunar calculate real returns vs inflation?
Lunar compares your investment growth to UK inflation rates to show you your actual purchasing power growth. This reveals whether your wealth is truly growing or just keeping pace with inflation.
What is a wealth dashboard?
Your wealth dashboard is a complete summary of your net worth, showing all your assets, investments, pensions, and accounts in one place. You can see your total wealth and how it's growing over time.
Can Lunar track capital gains?
Yes. Lunar automatically tracks your capital gains and losses across all investment accounts, helping you understand your tax liability for UK capital gains tax purposes.
Does Lunar help with tax planning?
Lunar shows you capital gains, losses, and allowance tracking for each UK tax year (April to April). This helps you understand your tax position, though we recommend consulting a tax advisor for specific advice.
Can I track my pension with Lunar?
Yes. Lunar can track pensions including SIPPs, workplace pensions, and personal pensions. See your total pension value and how it's growing towards retirement.
Does Lunar show dividend information?
Yes. Lunar includes a dividend calendar showing upcoming dividend payments for stocks in your portfolio, and tracks dividend history and upcoming events.

Why is Lunar focused on UK investors?
Lunar is built specifically for UK investors. We handle UK-specific tax rules, account types (ISAs, SIPPs), Premium Bonds, NS&I, and UK inflation rates to provide relevant insights for UK portfolios.
How does Lunar handle ISAs?
Lunar tracks all ISA types: Stocks & Shares ISAs, Cash ISAs, Lifetime ISAs, and Innovative Finance ISAs. You can see your holdings and growth within each ISA account.
Can I track Premium Bonds with Lunar?
Yes. Lunar can track your Premium Bond holdings. Simply photograph your Premium Bonds statement, and Lunar will extract and organize your data automatically.
How do I use the tax year breakdown feature?
Lunar organizes your capital gains and losses by UK tax year (April to April) automatically. This shows you your realized gains and losses in each tax year, helping with tax planning.

How do I join Lunar?
Lunar is currently in early access. Sign up for the waitlist on our homepage to be notified when you can join.
How many accounts can I track?
You can add as many accounts as you want. Lunar consolidates all your accounts into one dashboard for a complete view of your wealth.
Can I manually add investments?
Lunar primarily connects to your accounts via secure APIs to automatically pull data. For accounts that can't be connected, you may be able to upload documents or manually enter data.
How often does Lunar update my data?
Lunar syncs your account data regularly throughout the day. Real-time updates happen multiple times daily, and you can manually refresh anytime.
Support & Troubleshooting
I can't connect my account. What should I do?
If you're having trouble connecting an account, check that your login credentials are correct. If the issue persists, contact our support team and we'll help you troubleshoot.
